Pouring concrete

The foundations for the new hotel were laid on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 March 2020. At 11 p.m. the spectacle started: pouring concrete for 19 hours. 26 trucks drove up and down continuously to pour 2640 m3 of concrete at a rate of 150m3 per hour. The concrete was distributed over the construction site to a thickness of 2 meters by means of 330 concrete mixers and 3 concrete pumps. Pouring concrete was an important milestone in the construction process of our new hotel. We have shared this special moment with more than 60 family members and business partners. The guests were able to come and have a delicious breakfast on Saturday morning between 08:00 and 12:00. It was a pleasant and informal morning.
