Since the last update in October 2020, hard work has been going on again.
In recent months, the entire hotel has been fitted with insulation glass from Scheuten of Venlo. See it. Feel it. In addition, our new Toucan has found its permanent place at the front of the hotel. On the top floor, Level 77 shines a brand new Toekan.

The hotel is hard at work on the finishing touches. For instance, we are currently tiling the bathrooms and all other plumbing. We are tiling the floors and plastering the walls.

In the carpentry workshop of the Van der Valk family, they are busy making the furniture, serving buffets, bar elements and room panelling.

Outside, Herman Vaessen has started constructing the pond and the garden with various sustainable elements. Upon entering the new hotel, there will be a tree as tall as 7 metres. The tree will be installed in the first week of April. And that's no joke ;-).

From the 1st of March, we will start building the kitchens and restaurants. From the 6th of March, we will start moving and furnishing the various departments. The first departments and floors are expected to open in May to welcome guests.

Behind the scenes, we are working hard on new technology and systems. Think of the automation of room locks, setting up a new reservation system and new cloud solutions for our servers.

To do all this, we are looking for a whole host of new colleagues.
